Mayweather vs Hatton is a dream matchup of mine.

I always said that if you put these 2 beasts in the ring together you would get a replay of Lamotta vs Robinson and if they went at it 10 times it would be split down the middle...I cant pick a winner, I want to favor Mayweather because he has the feet to keep the distance pot shot Hatton..But at the same time, Hatton brings the aggressiveness to just completely maul him and throw him to the ropes and work the body....

Its going to be one great fight, well worth the 50 bucks...Im pumped, could go either way.

My opinion is that this fight will not be close and will actually be a snoozer. Hatton is a masher and isn't even within sniffing distance of Mayweather in the boxing ring. Hatton will want a brawl but Mayweather is so amazingly fast and talented that it will never come to that. Hatton has also had the luxury of having handpicked pattsies to fight and never, even once has he faced someone with a tenth of the talent Mayweather has .

Mayweather will go down in history as one of the best pound for pound fighters ever and Hatton ...well he will be remembered in Britian and elsewhere as nothing more than a footnote . Mayweather has speed, feet , smarts and he can hit so those are the reasons that this fight won't be remotely close . Bank on it cause I know I am . It will be over in 6 .

I will go as far as this. It will be a brawl, you can't beat Hatton with speed, it's been tried. He's just got too much stamina. Mayweather knocked out in the 8th.

The same was said about Lamotta and Robinson and look at how that turned out..Seriously these fighters are almost carbon copies of the latter two its out of this world.

A lot of variables will go into the victory, if Mayweather gets a big sized ring 22-24 feet he will have the advantage but anything less will keep Hatton on him...Hatton can be outboxed just look at the Collazo fight I think, but the problem is Mayweather is nowhere near the lankiness of Collazo...Truthfully its a toss up, I would favor Mayweather because he has adapted but Hattons style is so effective it cant be denied.

I don't know who will win, nor do I really care, but I've watched many of Mayweather's fight. How can you say he can't beat Hatton's speed?

Last time I checked Mayweather's hand speed is pretty damn fast with his hand and how he moves in the ring. Hatton needs to hope it's a brawl, because Mayweather has looked pretty damn unstoppable when it comes to pure boxing.

I'm not saying that Hatton has more speed than Mayweather, because that's wrong, just that Ricky can put up with it. Hatton has this reputation as a brawler, that's wrong, he's an amazing technical fighter, especially offensively. He'll just overpower Mayweather.

Okay I get what you're saying, I don't know if he'll overpower Mayweather. He should, but a lot of other fighters who faced him who were stronger just couldn't hit him or hit him enough to do damage for a good enough period to actually dominate him.
