If anyone hasn't seen it, watch this 10 minute interview with him. I thought the NFL wall was pretty sweet. But a good interview. He is tearing down the entire spring program and doing it his way was one thing I got from it, which isn't shocking obviously.

A local radio show on the fan here in Cbus has taken to calling Meyer "Urban 3:16" and they play Stone Cold Steve Austin's entrance music whenever they talk about him. Pretty funny stuff and rather accurate as to the badassery that is one Urban Meyer.

Spring practice update: Gotta love Meyer and how he wants guys to compete in spring practice. Here is an article on it from last week on rewarding winners and losers, and an excerpt from it:

No sugar-coating. No diplomacy. No hedging. Meyer’s approach is Darwinian. It’s you against the other guy, and you better win.

So it will be for his players when spring practice opens in two weeks. If the Buckeyes expect the 3½ weeks of practice to be a feeling-out period between Meyer and a mostly new coaching staff, forget it. There will be a lot of hitting, Meyer said. There will be winners and losers and little gray area.

“(I’ll) put them in environments and situations where I want to see who the fighters are, who’s going to compete,” Meyer said yesterday at a news conference to discuss spring practice. “There’ll be rewards at the end of the day.

“You can get off the field with Gatorade if you win. If not, you drink out of a water hose and do some running, and that includes the coaches.”

Just a heads up Bucks fans, the spring game is this Saturday 1:30 to 3:30, and will be shown on the Big10 channel. It will be re-played that night at 11 as well.

Braxton Miller looked great.Looked like a young RG3. Kenny Guiton looked very good until his last pass and will be a solid backup this year.

All of the RBs that played looked solid, and Dunn is going to be a beast in a year or 2.

Philly Brown played well, and freshman Michael Thomas looked like a star in the making.

Simon and Big Hank barely played, but the D-line still looked good.

LB Ryan Shazier looked a little bigger, but still very fast. I will be shocked if he's not at least second team All Big 10 this year.

Did you think there were similarities between Michael Thomas and A.J. Green? Obviously, not making a comparison in talent, but there were similarities I thought. Long strides, sure-handed, ability to go up for the ball. I was impressed.

I never did get to watch all of it, but found this at belcher report of the highlights. Also the big10 channel site has highlights of it as well. I can't find the full practice on u-tube or elsewhere, but if someone can or if I find it, I'll try to post link
