Default where to take the wife before game?

I'm taking my wife to her 1st game next week, 50 yd line 19 rows behind Bengals bench. I was wondering if i should stop at a bob evans on the way, drive straight to gm. or should i go get a parkin spot and walk somewhere to eat? I'm not sure whats close around stadium to walk to thats any good. any ideas?

A lot better choices on the KY side. Especially on a Sunday. Then you could walk across and save some cash, something you probably want to do after buying two 50 yard line seats in the 19th row.

There's some good places in the Fountain Square area. Rockbottom Brewery is my favorite. They also have Chipotle, Mccormick and Schmicks and Mortons Steakhouse over there. I always park in the fountain square garage, only $10.

Are they opened on Sundays (I feel like I should know this)? If they are then yes, McCormick and Schmicks ftw. Morton's is good but I think they're overly priced.

If you get there early enough, you can go to First Watch at 700 Walnut for an awesome breakfast/brunch!

Depends on what type of food you're looking for.

Tina's cafe is at 4th and Central (2 blocks from PBS. It's bar food, but not bad plus you can "tailgate" right there the place will be packed!

If you're interested, PM me.

On game days, I like to take my wife to a little place called Poundtown.

Really though, I'd do Rock Bottom, or Holy Grail in Cincy...Keystone in Cov

Just hook up with a tailgating party if you want to hang out and absorb the atmosphere of gameday. They have some great food too.

if you wanted to make it special you could take her to the westin for breakfast, but i agree with others and park in ky and walk the bridge. did that for decades growing up with my dad going to games.

you could eat at the rotating restaraunt at the top of quality inn or whatever the hotel is called now, the one in covington.

I come from Canada and my wife loves First Watch for breakfast and Rock Bottom for dinner. Both places have great food.

Thanks for the ideas guys, where is Rock Bottoms? can i park at stadium and walk there? I like to talk Bengals and tailgate with the best of them but not sure if she's tuff enough to stay outside the whole time. I wouldn't mind stopping by and seeing a few bengal fans though and maybe drinking a cold one. If your gonna be around and want company for a few let me know. Thanks again for the info.

It's on the left side of Fountain Square right beside the fountain pretty much.

There are garages everywhere downtown, in fact I know one that is 2 blocks from Fountain Square and is only $2 for a full day on Sunday.

Another option is Newport on the Levee and catch the boat across the river.

well, if she is not much into football, take her shopping first, then go to the game, there won't be any strain.
