Listen man, I am as down (or probably more so) than the next fan. BUT to say you predicted the we would end the last 8 games 2-6, and then be bold enough to say that here?! And to say that the future isn't bright?!
There are commercials all the time on tv about drugs that can be taken for folks who think that way...just watch the tube for a few hours and maybe you will see one that will help you with that attitude. I would suggest a couple, but I am not a DR....although I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express once. Does that count??

what in the past 21 years under mike brown has given anyone any reason to be optimistic about this team? get real. am i the only one smart enough to know mike brown can not make this team a contender? 21 straight years of proof should be enough. he hasn't just magically figured it out(wow a mediocre 7-5 team who's collapsing to 8-8, go MB!), he will screw it up like always. have you people not noticed he has no clue and has made this franchise into a joke? oh but magically he's figured it out now! pfffft i aint no sucker

But I remind you, that the Week 14 American Football Conference standings has the inept Cincinnati Bengals in the sixth playoff position, holding it with the second tie-breaker (conference win-loss-tie percentage).

We are one of the youngest NFL teams with the most promise and a lot of high draft picks in the years to come.

You are getting upset over a Bengals season that turned out thus far better than anyone was preparing for. Everyone looked at this as being a rebuilding year. You inability to be a true fan is your problem........

Unlike Jim Moras team....this team is 7-5 and is at this time the 6th seed in the play-offs. We have the wild card lead over teams like Jets.

and were you one of the ones predicting 0-16 or a 4-12 season ?......Bengals just had to play Steelers twice and Ravens in last 4 games...most NFL teams lose those 3 games.....Right now you have the Packers, Patriots, Steelers and Ravens and everybody else.....You could add Saints who still have alot of players from Super Bowl win year before last.....49ers record looks good but it is the NFC West, so they have to prove it in play-offs.....28 NFL teams that have to play Packers, or Patriots or Steelers or Ravens 3 out of 4 are going to take 3 losses as we did, because those 4 teams are at a higher level. ....This does not mean only those 4 teams go to play-offs.

Texans have a good record but alot of key injuries to QB and WR. They will make play-offs but they are limping in, not running in. Texans with Yates can be beat. Rams and Cardinals can be beat. Ravens at Cincy is the hardest game left.

3 game winning streak to go 10-6 is very possible thanks to Texans down to 3rd string QB and losing top WR and warm weather team playing in December in cold weather city.

Bengals are at this time the 6th seed in the play-offs. It is very possible for OUR Bengals to finish 10-6 and maintain wild card lead....and play at Houston or Denver in play-offs....or at Tennessee if Houston collapses due to injuries....or at Oakland if Denver collapses....but Bengals in play-offs very possible because as of now, we control our own destiny. We ARE in as of now.

As for losing to Steelers, they were in Super Bowl last year and could very easily be in Super Bowl this year. Packers will probably win NFC, but in the Super Bowl against Patriots, Steelers or Ravens, Packers better pack a lunch because those 3 AFC teams are very good also.

The one thing I think might cost us down the stretch is conference record. If the two most winnable games (ARZ and STL obviously) we're in our conference that'd be great. But the 2 conference games we have left are the tougher ones. Now we have to win at least one anyways, but most are saying 3-1 will get us in and that loss will be either Houston or Baltimore (so a conference game). Conference record (and then SOV) might go against us.

It's simpler if we just win them all

we all can admit that the last 21 years has been rough. but if i am not mistaken mike brown did not have pads on and playing in the game the last couple of weeks. i can understand the hatred for him, i hate him myself, but to try and put the total blame on him is absurd at best.
