bengals 33 out of 53

We have 33 players either drafted through us or signed Un drafted free agents. I am pretty sure they are the main reason we are successful this season. Whose philosohpy is that? is it Marvin or Mike? or some else in the club that we dont know of?

We have two first round picks in next year's draft where we can draft a solid Lienman and a RB. which would solidify our offense for years to come.

Young QB, RB, 3WRs, 2TEs and OL

Is the bottom portion what you say we should draft?

CB is this teams biggest need, and CB is also one of the most expensive positions to try and fill in free agency. Our first draft pick will be a CB.

Not saying that I would mind that but I think that we can find the talent we need in that position in the 2nd or 3rd rounds. Either way we know we are drafting a CB atleast hopefully....lol

We have Hall, and Adam Jones . I know Jones is a FA, but he will be back. I think we will proly find some one in the second round.

We could also make argument that good RBs are dime a dozen, but great RBs like AP are rare in later rounds, so i think its good move to snatch the best RB out of the draft with our first pick.

Neither of our 1St round picks should be used on a running back.

So does Mikey. Marvin has a philosophy of getting good players through the draft, however.

I love Pickman's skill set, but he has NEVER played a full 16 game schedule, and he has not played more than 9 games in a season since 2006. Plus he has had multiple neck injuries. We would be crazy to depend on Jones.

Clements is 32; Hall is trying to come back from a VERY serious injury; everyone behind them is garbage; and the #3 CB usually plays more snaps than one of the starting LBs.

Add in the fact that CB is probably the most important position on a defense and in my eyes we need TWO new CBs for next year.

Cornerback is a must, and if there is one worthy of first round then I think it's a no brainer. Like Fred said, we have an injury prone guy in Jones, an older guy in Clements, and no idea how Hall comes back. If they all work out, then it would be nice to have replacements before we need them. The Steelers are very good at having guys on the roster ready to take the place of a guy.

I totally agree. I want a BIG DB in the first round. Teams probably don't draft OGs in the first round, but we need someone (2) who can open holes for the backs and protect the QB. These positions will make the rest of the needs less critical.

Not sure if need and value will intersect on a CB in the first. Jenkins would, but his history is a serious issue. Might not see a CB until the 2nd.

I agree. The longevity factor is not there for running backs, can't waste a 1st rounder. O-line and corner are the way to go in Round 1. They should have 2 3rd rounders also, so you may look to add the running back with one of these. Good backs are out there, they just have to do their homework (yikes Bengals Scouting Dept.).

Maybe another lineman in Round 2. Got to protect AD for years to come.

Finally, not sure if it's feasible but I wouldn't mind giving either Adam Jones (or Nate Clements) a look at safety. Both have good speed and ball skills. It's all about getting your best atheletes on the field. If we can get a stud corner it might open the possibility to try some things out.

Id like to pick up Landry out of f.a. . Then draft OL or RB with the 1st then possibly CB with a 2nd. That leaves our backfield with clements hall landry nelson with Pac man and draft pick to spare
