Default Homefield Advantage

I thought about this, and Dalton grew up in Texas, so I thought maybe he had played in Reliant Stadium, which he has- twice in high school and once at TCU.

Yates has started three games at Reliant Stadium.

THE KICKER: RECORDS IN RELIANT STADIUM

Dalton- 3-0

Yates- 1-2

Homefield advantage? I beg to differ. We're bringing one back to Cincinnati, folks.

Dalton won't have 60,000 fans screaming for him to do well, unlike Yates. He might gather a few just because of his ties to Texas though.

Houston has a 70,000+ seat stadium and you said 60,000 would scream against Dalton, is that to say 10,000 would support Dalton? that's still a good number for a road game

Plus, throw in any Who-Dey fans that live in Houston or travel down there.

We've been better on the road this year than at home. It being in his home state is just icing on the cake.

No, that's just me not knowing how many seats were at Reliant.

Yeah I don't think the Bengals will have 10,000 fans even with it being so close to Andy Dalton's hometown. I'd probably put the over-under at around 7,000 which still isn't too bad taking into account the distance from Cincinnati and other factors. I wish I could of found a way to make the trip though.

I wonder how many people from Centerville, OH. cheered for the pro-bowl center of the Jets when they came here for our last playoff game. He played at Centerville high school. I say 20 because he may have a big family.

Sorry. But unlike Cincinnati, Houston actually has a home field advantage.

And it's a pretty big one.

Well, they're 5-3 at home this year, so not exactly a HUGE advantage IMO
