Default Landry to the Jets on the cheap

I would have taken him for that price.

LaRon Landry reached agreement with the Jets on a one-year, $4 million deal.

Especially one year.
Good deal. A very Mike-Brown move by the J-E-T-S.

Is there anything else left at SS

I'm sure the idea of health risk was well represented in the negotiations and reflected in the length of the deal.

Value signing for sure....

Fair deal for a productive player with an injury history.

No doubt. But it is still a steal for the Jets if he stays healthy long enough to contribute at all.

I'm sure Jets fans are thrilled to have another LB who can't cover.

Landry's deal is probably good for both sides. The Jets don't have a long commitment and Landry gets pretty good money on a one year prove it deal to show he deserves more money or a longer deal next year. That's not a bad outcome for a guy who had no one else looking at him.
