Ryan Tannehill is on the NFL.com homepage, and it says he has the raw skills to be a top 10 pick. That is all the Browns needed to hear. Another project QB? I believe that is too tempting for the Browns to pass up. I believe they are sold. They will waste another high pick, on another mediocre QB.
http://www.nfl.com/draft/story/09000...module=HP11_cp Be afraid, be very afraid. Or just laugh at the lowly Browns. ![]()

don't really know who that is, but i hope some way Justin Blackmon drops to 17, i doubt it will happen but could you imagine Blackmon and Green together :O, i thought Browns would take Blackmon but if not that'd be awesome if we somehow got him, one can dream right?

Tannehill at 4 is an absolutely stupid pick. Hell, the Dolphins taking him at 8 would still be pretty stupid. Colt McCoy just needs more weapons and I'm sure he'll at least be serviceable. Little didn't really impress his first year, and Massiquoi is mind-numbingly mediocre. Cribbs is decent, but he's much better as a return guy.
Give Colt some ammo(Blackmon, Richardson), and the offense should get the shot it needs to be at least decent. Last edited by shaolinghost; 03-29-2012 at 07:47 PM. |

Speaking of the Browns, draft still nearly a month away and Bushy#2 has already went back into hiding, sad I tell you.

Apparently Mayock thinks the Browns would be crazy to pass him up after observing him at his pro-day.
Should also be noted that Mayock, who many here have such high regard for, thought that Gabbert should have been taken number one over Cam after Gabbert's pro-day last year. ![]()

A team can get by with a mediocre QB for awhile. The Browns need to address RB, recievers and O-line before they can even begin to think about a franchise QB. Plus Tannehill is not going to be a franchise QB, he is a coin flip as a project as it is and to waste a pick at this stage is moronic.

What is this, the 10th QB they've pointlessly thrown at their awful WR corps? Nice.

I think they're trying to set the record for most QB's broken over a 10 year span.

The Browns are a perfect example of a bad organization that makes dumb decisions by trying to make moves that appeal to their fan base. They will sell the Browns backers that Tannehill is a franchise QB,and they will be dumb enough to buy it. Then, after Tannehill fails miserably,Shurmer will be out the door along with possibly Holmgren and they'll start all over again. |

Hey now, I wouldn't go so far as to annoint Tannehill garbage or anything, but if the Browns are smart, they will allow Colt to play this year and give Ryan the opportunity to learn on the sidelines. Then, if Colt plays somewhat decent this year, they will be able to use him as trade bait in the future.

The Browns could pair up at #4 Justin Blackmon and at #37 Brandon Weeden lol. I like Weeden better than Tannehill anyway.

Here's a quick draft that could get the browns goin: 1a. Blackmon 1b. Weeden(if they're not sold on McCoy) 2. L. Miller Right there you've got a franchise WR, starting QB, and starting RB with more than enough big play ability. |

They won one with him, the other one the refs gave them despite the wretched QB play of the steelers.

They won 4 in the 70s with the same formula: mediocre QB, great defense...
