Rd 1 - Don't think he'll make it Rd 2 - Love it Rd 3 - Think I prefer Marvin McNutt, Dwight Jones or Brian Quick (in that order) Rd 4 - I like the pick, but I think he'd have to be taken a round earlier Rd 5 - Not a huge fan Rd 5 - Would prefer a position of need Rd 6 - I think I would try to solve for the 3rd TE late |

1. Outstanding 2. Outstanding x2 3. Would prefer Markelle Martin or Casey Heyward. 4. I feel it. 5. Would like to see Tommy Streeter, Marvin McNutt, or B.J. Cunningham 5.I think we can get Kellen Moore undrafted, maybe look at OL depth here 6. This would be a bigger steal than Atkins in the 4th. I would be giddy.

im dissappoint
with the title of this thread I though it would be something that would blow my mind but this is ehhhhh i would actually be dissappointed i think if were doing a homer draft i think i would want wilson in the second miller has no hands and since its a homer draft trade down and somehow hope decastro falls and since we trade down extra second rd pick and grab stepehn hill or another future star wr i think miller will be a big disappointment if we take him on draft day. I know when we drafted jordan shipley i was disappointed. I want jacob ford and it broke my heart we took ship :( if shipley stay healthy though my disappointed was in vain -sorry for getting side tracked lol XD |

I've seen a lot of mocks that have us taking Miller/ Wilson/Martin in the 2nd. I'd be happy with that, I just don't see it. It could be just me, but I feel like these guys that would be reaches at the end of the 1st become good value picks early in the 2nd.
Hope I'm wrong, but I think if we're going running back early, we'll have to reach at 21, trade back from 21 or start looking at guys like James or Polk in the 2nd round. |

Many teams are already lining up a visit with Wilson. I think you can throw Martin and Miller in the same boat... Rotowire.com Update: Wilson is scheduled to visit the Browns and Buccaneers and will work out for the Falcons, Carroll County Times writer Aaron Wilson reports. Recommendation: The Falcons will need to trade up a long way from their 55th pick if they want a prayer of landing Wilson, who we fully expect to go in the first 40 picks. The Broncos (25), Giants (32), Rams (33 and 39), Buccaneers (36), Browns (37) and Jaguars (38) are all good candidates to take him. Wilson needs to develop better vision and patience as a runner, but he’s extremely gifted in terms of athleticism and runs with unusual power for a runner under 210 pounds. Here's add'l info regarding draft visits... http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com...rkout-tracker/ Last edited by animal74; 04-04-2012 at 03:45 PM. |
